I worked at the church nursery yesterday and it went well. I was able to get a free CD of the service to listen to at home, which worked out really well. I did miss being at the service but I was able to attend the church social hour after the service, which was good too.
I will be getting paid through direct deposit eventually. I can’t wait to see that first paycheck! I already have plans to put it towards my debt – $550 of credit card debt, and a $346 medical bill from when I hurt my foot.
I am doing better on the finances front, but I look forward to getting out of debt over the next few months. I am reminded of the tortoise and the hare and I have to remember to stay patient with my progress. I am the tortoise.
